Powered by the original 356cc twin-cylinder two-stroke engine, 4 speed manual and Rear Wheel Drive.
The driveline has been completely restored less than 400kms ago. Everything has been overhauled, repaired or replaced with new components including suspension bushes, ball joints, wheel bearings, seals, brake master cylinder, brake lines and wheel cylinders. The engine was also torn down and rebuilt with new bearings, seals and gaskets.
The engine bay was painted along with all other components in the engine bay.
The little two-stroke is truly unique, it’s slow and a touch smoky, but the sound, the vibrations and the raw character make it a driving experience like nothing else. Always puts a smile on your face.
This car gets more attention on the road and at events than any other I’ve owned. It would suit a serious collector, or make an excellent business investment as a promotional tool! it always draws a crowd.
As far as I know, this is the only early 60's Rear wheel drive Daihatsu Fellow in Australia. (i'm aware of one similar model but it's not as cool)
